Hi, my name is Julia and I'm the creator and owner of the Spotted Sparrow. I'm an American living in Germany with my husband and internationally renowned Cyber Kitteh.

When I first moved to Germany in 2007, I was faced with a new culture and, more importantly, a new language. While this was daunting, I thought of it as the perfect opportunity to make a fresh start and do something I really love. So began the Spotted Sparrow - a combination of my love of paper, vintage goodies, and the environment.

Hallo, ich heiße Julia und bin der Gründer und Eigentümer von The Spotted Sparrow. Ich bin Amerikanerin und wohne mit meinem Mann und unserer Katze in Deutschland.

Als ich 2007 zuerst nach Deutschland umgezogen bin, wurde ich mit einer neuen Kultur und, was noch wichtiger ist, einer neuen Sprache, konfrontiert. Während dies entmutigend war, dachte ich, es wäre die perfekte Gelegenheit, um einen Neuanfang zu machen und etwas zu tun, das ich wirklich liebe. Und so begann The Spotted Sparrow - eine Kombination aus meiner Liebe zum Papier, Vintage Sachen, und der Umwelt.
