oktak was founded by Aki T. a NYC-based creator, who designs the products and creates them from scratch.

Aki was born in Tokyo, but has spent half of her life outside her home country. She moved to New York in 1998, and studied handbag design & construction at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).
