On her home turf in Switzerland, idil became an instant celebrity after showing her trendy, NYC street inspired collection in a fashion show in Zurich in 1995, which was reported on by the Swiss National evening news. The Swiss press called her "The Most Exiting Invention Since Color TV!" This kind of exposure lead to countless endorsement deals with Swiss companies such as Bernina (Sewing Machines), Philip Morris, Blick (Swiss National Newspaper), etc. Idil was even appointed to be a judge at the Miss Switzerland 1998 competition and was chosen to design the clothing concept for the Swiss National EXPO' 02. Today, famous celebrities such as Gwen Stefani, Kelly Osbourne and others wear her pieces.

In NYC she has gained recognition from some of the largest publications including WWD, Vogue, The Village Voice who called her "The Best Name Of The Day " after Fashion Week and the New York Times declared: "Idil Vice's collection had the combination of elements that make a fashion audience sit up and take notice". Idil also was a finalist in the renowned Gen Art Styles 2000 and 2001 competition show and has designed a couture collection for Elvis Presley Enterprises in Memphis.

Despite the fact that her name sounds alpine-kitschy as the "edelweiss" flower, her brand new conceptual sportswear line offers quiet the contrary of Swiss traditional clothing. Idil Vice uses lots of prints of Swiss and American pop cultural icons.
