Anneliese is a self taught maker who has always had a great love for jewellery, starting from her childhood experiments remodelling her mother’s old necklaces.
She now combines her background in Industrial Design and crystallography to create highly original pieces that incorporate both handmade and modern production techniques.
In her current collection Anneliese encases roughly hewn pieces of raw minerals sourced from far north Queensland in handmade wire mesh. The works are all one offs as the final designs are highly dependent on the shape of the rocks themselves.
Some simpler, elegant silver pieces made are available in limited numbers.
Working from her studio in NSW she sources all her materials locally and gets all her pieces made in Australia using high quality materials.
