I am originally a design student from Roseburg, Or. Shortly after college, my husband and I packed our bags and moved to Hawaii. For five years I lived in Honolulu. I worked in fabric stores and did seamstressing on the side. I then went on to design skydiving jumpsuits for a small manufacturer. After a few years, I moved to the Big Island, where I worked for a small gift shop doing window displays and started my own line of children's clothing and accessories that I sold at local fairs and hotel gift shops. Now I am back in Oregon. I stay at home to raise my six month old daughter, and design in my spare time. She and the islands are my two greatest inspiration, and a little bit of their colorfulness and vibrancy goes into everything that I design.
