Hi! My name is Erika...Welcome!

A bit about me...

I'm studying to reach the Engineer degree, and in the freetime i play my bass guitar in a rock band and i practice marzial art: the kung fu tai ji quan. Since i was young, i enjoyed very much knotting, and i have tested a lot of tecnique: crochet, kumihimo, the chain mail, the celtic knots, the cinese knots...and now i find my way in the macrame. Initially i crafted for myself, for my parents and for my friends, and thanks to their positive comments, i opened this shop ^^

That's it...and now let's talk a bit about my shop!

I sell things that i make in my freetime, in front of a cup of tea and with my favourite music. While i make my works, i feel more relaxed, and i try to give a peaceful look to my knots.

Behind all of this, i'm searching the way to make up-to-date the macrame. The first time i ever heard the word "macrame" i thought about a lot of old things, but now i know that the art of macrame can be more.

You should check Roseground http://www.roseground.com/ and http://www.hhtatting.com/ for tatting related stuff, I prefer using a tatting needle.

I've always wanted to try macrame, but never ventured further than those friendship bracelets everyone made in the 80's as a kid...

Now, have you tried tatting? It is basically just 2 knots, repeated ad nausea. I see you would have the patience for it at least ;)
