Inspired by the world's greatest fabrics, like many, I collect.
I started selling some of my collection last June and have found great pleasure in sharing my treasure - I have loved hearing what a customer has had to say about a particular piece of fabric that I have also have spent time appreciating.
And it has afforded me to discover more.
I tend to favour natural fibres, designs that are beautiful and independent of fad, although, also selected designs and colours that seem to speak well a particular sentiment.
Vintage japanese kimono silks, cottons, and wool have dominated much of my exploration. These have inspired a quest, now underway, for modern creations that have rediscovered the art of beautiful dyes and mixed methods for creating an overall design.
