E.V.O.D jewlry design is the work of Mandy Wu.

Mandy was born in Texas, USA. Whenever she makes new friends, they will be curious about her origins, claiming she looks Eurasian. Truth is her dad is a Taiwanese and her mom a Singaporean, making her a true Chinese.

She has always been more of a 'science' person than an artistic one in school (she majors in Chemistry). Perhaps because of that, she often has this urge to do something more expressive. She can't paint or draw. Neither can she write beautiful poems. So she turned to jewelry design to serve as her medium of art and expression.

Mandy designs and makes all her pieces, using unconventional materials such as timepieces and fabric centerpieces. She loves to expose herself to different forms of arts and designs to gain inspiration for her pieces.

After a year of making her own designs, she started E.V.O.D. With it, she hopes to create pieces with a statement.
