I noticed several threads about finding who has pinned your item. I wondered about that myself. Then I thought I would leave a message for the person I pinned to let them know. I went through all my pinboards and left a note on sellers' items with a comment and "i pinned this :)" or "you've been pinned :)"

I got some messages back from sellers and comments of thanks. No one has contacted me considering it spam so far :)

Just thought I'd share my idea :) And go check out my pinboards; I have discovered so much talent here at DaWanda! :)

That's a nice idea. :-) Maybe we could combine it with a reason why we pinned it, so it's not seen as 'spam'? Although I think the spam aspect was to do with people finding out who had pinned their stuff and contacting them, which wouldn't bother me anyway.

Hi kittys! I try to leave a comment on the profile page when I pin someone I like. I comment on their work and let them know I pinned them. I don't consider it spam, I personally like it when someone does the same on my profile, it's good to see who likes your work.

I love to know who pins me, so I don't consider it spam! I often leave messages complimenting people on their work and letting them know I pinned their shop.

I always do that too. Just add a note when looking at people's shop "pined!" that's it. I also would like to know who has pined my items!!
