hi everyone! anyone know if there will be a colour of the month section on the homepage for July? i don't remember seeing one for june. Any clues to what colour it may be?

The colour of july will be blue. Just found it in the German forum.

Did you mean discuss the topic in the English forum? The idea was intitially thought up over in the German forums back in March - perhaps someone could organise a liaison who could make sure each forum was up to speed and notified when the colour topic is being discussed.

that would be great Elizabeth. I know I am relatively new... well, not anymore actually, but I had no idea about it. there are many features here to explore, and this is a great one! I think I just havent seen it before... silly me.

Anyway, besides following the link, what other way is it to find it, this color of the month feature?? I mean, is there a button to click somewhere?? coloranda?? no, not really.

About doing the same in english I meant that there is no thread about this on the english forum, so I think many sellers are missing out! (I dont kow about french).
I see that you post your blue object (in this case, for this month) on a thread, and then it gets picked up and added to a list which gets exposure. Right? So, having a thread like that on this English forum, would that work? Or do you propose someone from here letting people know, monthly, about the new color? and where to find the thread and the page where everything is shown...

I'm all for an English language version of the colour thread, but we do need an ambassador from the German language boards to give us the heads up when the new colour is decided.

i was in the June Pink, but the theme was in the german site, so if you are in the english one, Trends and Inspiration english, you coudnt see it, you must go to the german site to see the June o July theme.

That's great! Blue is my favorite color. Hope July would be my lucky month.

I would be happy to help making the contacts to the german forum thread. German is my mother-tongue, so it would be quite easy for me.
In the german version the colour of the month feature is actually on the frontpage.
I remember that during the first month of this promotion it was on the english frontpage as well, but it was mainly german sellers displayed since few international sellers participated.
It would be nice to have it back on the english frontpage with more (mainly) international sellers.

I have been trying to put a blue keychain into the july blue thing, but I did not succeed... So now it's just in my store the usual way.

Still have a blue bracelet though, I would like to participate with that one then, but how?

In the title besides your peronal title you have to write "Der Juli macht blau", as well as in the tags.
Besides that you have to write "Krankenschein" as a tag. This tag was added as a code word to make sure everybody read the rules (the code word is postes in a thread expaining the rules every month)

Hmm, thinking about it maybe I should translate the rules so everybody using the code word actually knows them...

1. Everybody is welcome to participate a this DaWanda forum promotion "Der Juli macht blau", which was invented by the forum community and is organized by member "brifrischu" with support of DaWanda.

2. The promotion takes place in many places on DaWanda:
- in many shops DaWanda members present their "Der Juli macht blau" items

- in the forum "Alles Andere" (everything else) in the thread "Welche Farbe hat der Juli?" (which colour is july), all participators can present their favourite "julyblue" items and exchange thoughts and suggestions regarding this promotion.

- DaWanda provides us a presentation spot on the frontpage (only german version), in wich selected products are offered with free shipping (domestic).

3. In the presentation spot/list one product per participant will be shown. this product has to be: - NEW - ESPESIALLY MADE FOR THE PROMTION - BLUE - .

To be taken in consideration the product has to:
- be linked into the forum "Angebote und Aktionen" in the thread "Juli macht blau"

- have the name of the promotion in the title an the tags.

- to make sure that the rules were read and accepted a codeword has to be put in the tags: "Krankenschein"
If the codeword doesn't appear in the tags the participant will be contacted and made aware of the rules via convo.

- have a clear reference to the monthly colour.

- be listed with free domestic shipping.
