Oui, j’adore!
This is a take on the more familiar clutch.
If you want an accessory that is bold and distinct, this is for you.
It is made out of African batik fabric from Nigeria in West Africa. This is known as 'Adire' which uses a traditional tie and dye method to achieve the fabric design. The pattern is acheived by sewing the fabric before it is dyed. This thread is then removed after dyeing and this gives thin wavy white lines within the green parts of the fabric.
The vivid colours and crazy contrast would make this a great way to spice up an evening outfit or can be just as fun to wear more informally during the day.
FASTENING:
The clutch closes with magnetic snaps and is roomy enough to hold wallet, keys, phone, ipod.
It is lined with heavy interfacing to maintain its shape and for extra durability. The insides are lined with bright orange cotton for a great contrast.
